Baroque Style: LAMPS FOR INTERIOR DESIGN

Baroque style is luxury, elite, and exaggeratedly emotional. The style has appeared in the 17th century, so humanity returned to the elegance, grandeur, and luxury after several decades of simplicity in the room decoration. Baroque chandeliers

For lighting baroque interiors, massive chandeliers are used, with a large number of light sources, made in the same style. The respectability of the lighting fixtures made for the palaces is enhanced by luxurious crystal pendants. Crystal decor is always made faceted so that rays from a light source could be refracted in it and scattered in hundreds of glare around. Cascading crystal chandeliers with many pendants look elegant and luxurious, such multi-tiered models will become the center of the interior. For large living rooms with baroque interiors, one large chandelier is usually selected for the main lighting and several sconces or floor lamps for additional lighting and zoning of the room. Sconces made in the Baroque style are distinguished by pomp and decorativeness. Manufacturers use different materials: crystal, colored glass, bronze, brass, and copper. There are options with the use of natural stone.

The luminaires are decorated with pendants and decorative details with gentle curves. Users often opt for sconces in the shape of a girandole or a bowl. Girandole is a candlestick for several candles. Styling under an antique figured candlestick makes the sconces unique and sophisticated. There are options for baroque sconces in the form of inverted bowls, flower buds. Models are distinguished by a massive bronze or brass base. The color scheme of the sconces is rather restrained – light tones, gold, colored crystal prevail. The bases are decorated with gilding, silvering, artificial patina.

Baroque floor lamps are used less often than chandeliers and sconces, so their choice is somewhat limited. There are models that are made in the form of an old floor chandelier for several candles. This sconce has a metal body, a stable base, and can be decorated with crystal pendants.

Another option is respectable models with silk lampshades. They are made in a stylistic symbiosis of classics and baroque. Such products have a massive metal stand. Also, the leg can be decorated with figures of birds, animals. Sometimes table lamps made in the same stylistic key are also selected for additional lighting.
