Today Modern Chandeliers brings you an amazing project, the Ravenswood Residence. It has that timeless indulgence of the perfectly combined modern interiors with a pinch of decadence. A place to settle your bones, Emily Mackie of Inspired Interiors explains why and how this luxury home has the perfect pinch of style and history that became such a success.

The purpose of the project, the creme de lá creme, was to build something beautiful to live in. From a powerful combo of Portuguese and Italian design, the project has an adequate detail of intimacy blended perfectly while mixing styles like no other.

When decorating this house Mackie faced a big challenge – which was to create intimacy in the large scale space the home features. That was the case for the dining room, a large room with high ceilings that were offset by the towering candlesticks and the chandeliers from LUXXU. The long dining table from Imaestri was the perfect choice to fill the space, while the blue accents added richness to the interior.

For the interior designer, learning about each piece of furniture or home décor and its story is a way of enhancing the beauty of a room. Emily truly believes that a piece is elevated from ordinary to extraordinary when the piece is crafted by an artisan.

The living room has a soft, yet luxurious, atmosphere, where custom furniture, modern designs, and textured details play together. Several styles and different shapes add depth to the design of this stunning space!

The house is definitely an eclectic mix of styles, with rooms decorated in mid-century modern style as the living room above. The clients already owned much of the furniture that was combined with new additions, making a statement.
