This residence combines elements of contemporary architecture with the client’s personal eclectic style. This beautiful estate is set atop a hill in Westlake. Mark Ashby Design worked closely with Ryan Street & Associates and builder Michael Dean to undergo an extensive remodel. Having worked with the client on other homes, we were able to repurpose some existing furnishings from past projects and add new pieces to complete the look. The ornate architectural details inherited from the house were toned down to achieve a more clean, modern aesthetic.

Designed by architect Greg Lowenstein, this home was developed and built by Hudson Design Development in Austin’s Bouldin Creek neighborhood. In addition to decorating, Rachel chose all the hard finishes for this modern farmhouse.

Bandd Design made the interiors of this newly-built home by swapping builder-grade finishes with more sophisticated materials. This young family are avid art collectors so we had a fun collection of original pieces to play with and we also wanted to make sure the space was comfortable for their two kiddos. They also loved the colour so we had a blast playing with jewel-toned colour palettes.

Blair Burton interiors intended to give a top-to-bottom refresh to this house, creating a comfortable and stylish modern interior. Plush, cosy seating was a top priority, in addition to modernizing traditional wallpaper and mouldings for a more elevated look and feel. Bright colour tones brought a level of tasteful interest, thanks to abstract art and a gorgeous tufted blue sofa.
