Stepping Inside Her California Home
Located on a tree-lined street, the house is hidden behind a high wall, secured gates, and a towering hedgerow. With an area of, approximately 3,400 square feet, it has two stores. With a Soho-inspired aesthetic, the house includes 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms a swimming pool, and a camera security system.
The high ceilings allow the rooms to look spacious and filled with light, while at the same time letting them flow into one another. A beautiful white formal living room that also works as a foyer merges with a chic dining room, decorated in a charcoal tone.
The dining room doesn’t get lost in its coastal aesthetic, in fact, it takes a more chic approach to the concept by adding a touch of modernity with a simple and stylish suspension lamp. Combining the dark blue tones of the walls and dining chairs with lighter ones creates a beautiful colour palette that gets its final touch from the golden brass details of the lighting fixture.

The wide kitchen stylishly decorated with leather chairs arranged around a mammoth marble island is one of the high points of Margot’s house. Two pendants hang above the island, adding dynamic to the space with their demijohn-inspired shape.
A circular sofa takes the center of the family room, where another beautiful marble fireplace can be found. The floor-to-ceiling window allows a view of the house’s backyard where the pool is located, and also makes sure the room gets as much natural light as possible. The medievalesque candelabra suspension adds the final touch!
The main bedroom includes a reasonable amount of wood elements that feed from the coastal aesthetic we can find in other rooms too. A floor-to-ceiling door allows access to a balcony where a good quality time can be enjoyed and it also provides the bedroom with direct light from the outdoors.
The bathroom doesn’t divert from the aesthetic of the house, yet it introduces a different concept of lighting with a mid-century wall lamp.

The backyard area includes the best facilities to entertain guests during the summertime. The bar stands out in the corner, decorated with tiles that match the pool area, creating an aesthetically pleasant colour coordination. In the back, a lounge area serves as an appendix to the pool.
It follows the same decor pattern as the interiors, though it is adapted to an outdoor setting. Involved in a boho and beachy aura, it is the perfect space for a moment of relaxation.
