Roche Bobois is a world leader in furniture design and distribution. Working closely with renowned designers such as Marcel Wanders, Kenzo Takada, Ora Ito, Cédric Ragot, Sacha Lakic, Christophe Delcourt and Stephen Burks and with Haute Couture fashion houses such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, Missoni Home and Christian Lacroix Maison, Roche Bobois offers a broad range of exclusive made-to-order designs, manufactured with a high level of customization in small European workshops. At Salone del Mobile, the brand demonstrates its creative prowess in this Spring-Summer 2022 collection, showcasing its ability both to innovate and reinvent its iconic pieces in a way that reflects current trends.

The Speed Up sideboard (designed by Sacha Lakic – 2005) is a fine example: a popular piece for more than 15 years for its distinctive 3D facade in glossy Daquacryl, it has now been reworked in wood, punctuated by 64 oak slats- each one unique. The Sense sofa also deserves a mention. This third-generation piece has drawn on technical developments (in terms of fabric, especially) to reveal a new graphic expression.

The Domino, on the other hand, builds on the incredible tradition of the “modular” sofa at Roche Bobois, which started in 1971 with the Lounge, a precursor to the Mah Jong. Revisited by Sacha Lakic, it retains its seventies inspiration with luxurious, bicolor curves.

Lastly, in continuation of these aspirations, the Aurea outdoor collection boasts impeccable finishes. Surprisingly, it is made of solid oak panels reclaimed from former SNCF freight cars that once transported mineral water and have since been thoroughly cleaned and purified. The outcome features soft lines and a velvety touch with delicate veins, available in a table, bench and folding chair.
