When it comes to design, 2019 brought us a lot of excitement design trends and novelties, especially in the lighting world. For that reason, Modern Chandeliers decided to show you the most iconic lighting fixtures of this amazing year.
LLADRÓ’S NIGHTBLOOM
Petals at Nightfall. Quietly they bloom and grow, the flowers of the night. This spectacular collection of porcelain lamps by world-renowned Dutch design studio Marcel Wanders celebrates the delicate dance of unfurling petals and the blissful beauty of nature itself.
As dramatic as ever, the McQueen II is born from nature’s elements that have always inspired the collection. An homage to the late fashion designer and his bold statements, the brass chandelier features handmade brass leaves and is finished with Swarovski Crystals. A savage beauty that is the ultimate expression of luxury.
PERLES CHANDELIER
To design the Perles chandeliers, Pierre-Yves Rochon was inspired by eponymous luminaires created by René Lalique in the 1930s and by the graphic and symbolic power of the candle. In all cultures and religions, the candle is meaningful, synonymous with knowledge and the quest for truth.
