The exciting luxury restaurant we bring you today, Doot Doot Doot, located in the heart of Australia’s Mornington Peninsula wine region, acquired its rather original name as a reference to the mythical North American jackalope!
Matching the refined and flavorful seasonal dishes served, a spectacular light installation on the ceiling draws everyone’s attention instantly! Designed by Studio Ongarato, the custom-made project pays homage to fermentation with a dense, bubbling cloud of suspended glass bulbs!

The main fine dining room of this restaurant lighting inspiration is beautifully illuminated by 10,000 globes shaped as flasks, test tubes and beakers ascribing to the sense of enigma and try-and-error characteristic of an alchemist laboratory!
Then, repetition and massing perform the role of creating the visually interesting discrepancies in height and scale across five different types of Edison-style globes, creating a single lighting masterpiece!
